Auteur en historicus Brian Long heeft de definitieve geschiedenis geschreven van de Honda S2000 , 'zuster'-auto van de legendarische Acura NSX . Met een rode lijn van 9.000 tpm , supersnel schakelen, een digitaal dashboard uit het ruimtetijdperk en Honda's legendarische bouwkwaliteit – om nog maar te zwijgen van optredens in games als Grand Theft Auto – was de S2000 een hot ticket, en een auto die net zo gewild is. na vandaag als tijdens de 10-jarige productierun.

Dit is het verhaal van de Honda S2000, onderzocht en geschreven in Japan, met volledige medewerking van de Honda- fabriek. De S2000, een open tweezitter gebouwd op het succes van de NSX, hielp het bedrijf zijn race-exploitaties te rechtvaardigen met een 'echte' lijn sportmachines.
